A quick orientation

The southwest is where the action is: Simpson Bay for the lagoon and restaurants, Maho & Beacon Hill for the strip and the airport, Cupecoy for high-rise views and new construction, with Pelican Key and Cole Bay on the hills and lagoon shore between them.

The south coast is quieter bay living: master-planned Indigo Bay on its own beach, and the family district of Cay Hill, Belair & Little Bay next to the capital.

The east belongs to Philipsburg and its harbour, the hillside homes of Point Blanche & Guana Bay, and the beach-and-resort coast at Dawn Beach & Oyster Pond on the French border.
